Decibel Meter PRO (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

By using Decibel Meter PRO, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

a. Microphone Data ​

We access your device’s microphone to measure sound levels. This data is processed locally on your device and not stored or transmitted unless explicitly required for a feature (e.g., exporting measurement reports, if added in the future).

b. Location Data ​

With your permission, we collect your approximate or precise location to provide relevant environmental context and improve functionality. Location data is not stored or shared without your consent.

c. Health Data (via Apple HealthKit) ​

If you enable HealthKit integration, we may read and/or write certain sound exposure data for your use within Apple Health. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising or analytics.

d. Usage and Analytics ​

We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized usage data to help us improve the app. This may include:

  • Session length
  • Features accessed
  • Crash reports

e. Advertising ​

We use Google AdMob to serve ads. AdMob may collect device information (e.g., device type, advertising ID) to personalize ads. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.

  • Measure and display sound level readings

  • Provide health-related data through HealthKit
